In our adventures we meet all kinds of Crafters, Artists, and interesting characters. Here are links to their pages.
Wicked Whatnots are some fellow crafty folks and friends of ours. They make some great jewelry and adult sippy cups (flasks). They have a very interesting use for pennies, making them into earrings and pendants. Check out their site, especially the calendar and events. These guys are always going to some kind of show or festival and you have to see their jewelry in person. Julia & Lee have over 20,000 images for their jewelry so they are all unique. http://www.wickedwhatnots.com/
We met Jason Tricktop Matthews at a small art show in Austin Texas and really like his work. So much in fact we commissioned something from him right there. http://www.studiotricktop.com/
At our trip to Wizard World Comic Con Austin we had the pleasure of having our table next to Steven Struble. The author of the comic Li'l Depressed Boy. Despite the title its a funny uplifting story about a likable guy's journey through life dealing with depression, and he just so happens to be a ragdoll. The author just so happens to be a pretty cool guy too. We couldn't have had a better neighbor at Wizard World. Check out his comic for a good read.
Dreams 2 Seams Costumes by Niki Marie Moffre aka The Imperial Mad Seamstress and Josh Powers aka Boba Fett. Josh and Niki are some pretty amazing cosplayers and members of the 501st. Check out their facebook page, they are friendly and insightful on creating some amazing costumes.
Lexi We met at Wizard World in artists alley. The picture on the left is a drawing she did special for Kat. Her art is nerdy and also classy chic (check out her nerd alphabet its the cutest) . Check out her Facebook link for more awesome drawings!
